Portofino Fine Food is seeking for a Marketing & sales Specialist for USA Market.

Location: Santa Margherita Ligure (GE), Italy

Requirement:
Must be a Native English Speaker (USA) currently residing within 15km of Santa Margherita Ligure.

Our mission is to combine traditional recipes with modern production standards, ensuring that every jar tells the story of our beautiful territory. As we embark on a major expansion into the United States, we are looking for a visionary leader to drive our brand growth across the Atlantic.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager and Strategic Communications lead to spearhead our expansion into the U.S. market. You will be responsible for defining the brand’s voice in America and building a robust distribution network. This role reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive entry and expansion strategy for the entire U.S. territory.

⁠ ⁠Market Penetration: Navigate and secure placements within the American Retail sector (Large-scale distribution and High-end "Gourmet" specialty stores).

⁠ ⁠HORECA Strategy: Establish strong relationships within the HORECA sector (Luxury Hotels, Resorts, and Fine Dining).

⁠ ⁠Brand Advocacy: Act as the primary brand ambassador, utilizing exceptional communication skills to promote the Portofino Fine Food heritage.

⁠ ⁠Autonomy & Leadership: Manage your workflow independently and coordinate with external agencies and collaborators (PR, logistics, or creative teams).

Candidate Requirements

⁠ ⁠Native USA English Speaker: Deep cultural understanding of the American consumer landscape is essential.

⁠ ⁠Education: Master’s Degree (or equivalent Italian Laurea Magistrale).

⁠ ⁠Experience:
Proven track record in the American food distribution market. You must understand the nuances of U.S. retail and hospitality.

⁠ ⁠Location:
You must currently reside within 15km of Santa Margherita Ligure (Tigullio area).

⁠ ⁠Communication:
Elite-level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "storytell" the brand effectively.
